Mark another casualty from all the flooding this Spring: parking for Red, White and Boom. It's a small thing compared to other effects the flooding had, but it's still an inconvenient one.

Thanks to the flooding, parking for tonight's event is going to be extremely limited, according to KWQC. With the fireworks set to start at 9:30 p.m., you'll want to get there early to get a good spot.

Fortunately, Davenport officials have come up with a few solutions. The main thing they suggest is watching the show from Modern Woodmen Park. It's free to get in, and there's decent parking options in the neighborhood.

Then there's option two. Since there is indeed limited parking along the river, downtown ramps will be free for the public after 5 p.m.

Officials are also noting that because of the amount of muck left in the park, Centennial Park will be closed to vehicle traffic from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
