Life-saving blood is needed every day in the Quad Cities and throughout America. To continue efforts to get that blood, ImpactLife is hosting a blood drive in Rock Island the day after Memorial Day.

Right now, officials from ImpactLife only have 2 people scheduled to donate blood and we know the Quad Cities is willing to help because that's who we are. If you are able to donate blood and want to make a difference in our community and around the U.S., we have the details on how you can signup today.

Donate Life-Saving Blood In Rock Island

On Tuesday, May 30th, from 1-5 p.m., ImpactLife and Rock Island Academy are hosting a blood drive at the Martin Luther King Center in the Ida Robinson Banquet Room (630 9th St. Rock Island, IL 61201).

In an email on Thursday, officials said they are hoping to collect the 20 units needed to earn their Lifesavings Grant. Currently, they only have 2 donors on schedule and it’s less than a week away.

ImpactLife and Rock Island Academy truly need to have at least 25 or more on schedule to help them get to that 20 units collected.

To schedule, donors can call ImpactLife at 800-747-5401. ImpactLIfe is the sole provider of blood products to all Quad Cities hospitals. The Lifesavings Grant can help pay for educational expenses.

To commit to donating blood on Tuesday in Rock Island is super easy. To register now, click the link here. It takes you directly to the schedule for the upcoming blood drive.

For more information or questions contact Ashley Reeves, the primary blood drive coordinator, at ashley.reeves@rimsd41.org or by phone at 309-793-5944.
