Spring Break can get kind of scary.

Many schools are on Spring Break this week and that includes the University of Alabama. That's the school that Jimmy Gracey, a student from Elmhurst, Illinois, attends.

Over the school's Spring Break, Jimmy has been visiting some of his friends who were studying abroad in Barcelona.

He was last seen around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday at Shôko, a beachfront nightclub.

His mom said that Jimmy did not return to the bed & breakfast he was staying at. She also said police are in possession of his phone, though it's unclear how they got that.

Jimmy was wearing a white teeshirt, dark pants, and typically wears a gold chain with a rhinestone cross. He's about 6'1" and 175 pounds. Jimmy is a junior at the University of Alabama and graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep in Elmhurst.

A University of Alabama spokesperson issued this statement:

James Paul Gracey is a UA student on a personal trip. UA staff are in touch with the family and those associated with them to offer support and assistance in any way possible.

If you have any info on Jimmy's disappearance, you're asked to call 224-505-3886.

Last year over Spring Break, University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki disappeared in the Dominican Republic and is believed to have drowned.

This year, the U.S. Embassy put out a statement to people planning on traveling to Mexico for Spring Break. They warn about crime and kidnapping risks, especially over Spring Break, and encourage travelers to do things like not bring your vape pen (it's illegal in Mexico) and to watch your drink being prepared.

top 10 best movies about football

Football movies work because the game is a perfect pressure cooker for drama. Whether it’s a coach trying to hold a locker room together or an underdog fighting for a single play on the field, these stories usually end up being about way more than just what happens between the whistles. They’re about ego, community, and those "get up off the dirt" moments we all wish we had in real life.
