February 13th really is Cheater's Day!

Cheating is a ratchet thing to do and I've never understood the mindset one would have to find it permissible. In parts of the Midwest, including Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, it could technically land you in jail.

With Valentine's Day so close by, it makes a perfect time to catch a cheating partner. If you're wondering how bad can it really be, right? In this age, do people still think they can get away with these shenanigans?

Solitaire Bliss looked at the states with the most cheaters in multiple aspects, like relationships, gaming, etc. Iowa has the 5th most relationship cheaters in the country.

Overall the most likely professions to cheat are, for men: trades, IT, and entrepreneurs. For women cheaters, it's medical and education.

For women, 91% confessed to emotional cheating (which, in my opinion, is way worse than physical). 72% of men confessed to a one-night stand.

It's hard to relegate cheating to one specific gender. A study found that 23% of men cheated (in some capacity), while 19% of women cheated. Those are pretty close numbers. This is up from 2022, when 20% of men cheated, and 13% of women cheated.

There's also truth in the phrase "once a cheater, always a cheater". 67% of men confessed to cheating on their partner more than once, while 53% of women confessed to cheating more than once.

So maybe just don't become a statistic? If you're unhappy in a relationship, find a way to get out of it without compromising your character.
