Iowa State Capitol Is Going To The Birds…

Politicians deal with crap all the time...just usually not of the animal variety. The Iowa Capitol in Des Moines has a serious poop problem.

State representative Quentin Stanerson (R-Center Point) says the Capitol building is covered in bird poop, everything from the windows to the sign greeting visitors. Rep. Stanerson is also concerned about possible health effects from what the birds leave behind. He hopes to have the mess removed in the time for this summer's national governor's meeting. [WQAD]
