It’s Going To Get Hotter Than Normal In The Quad Cities Next Week
Were you missing summer or at least ready for spring? So is Mother Nature as she is going to be bringing some above-normal temperatures to the Quad Cities area next week. No, we won't see temperatures reach up into the 90s, but it's going to feel like early spring and thaw the ground enough to make things a little mushy.

Before we get to the warmer weather for January, let me first give you a heads-up about some rain and snow we're most likely going to get Wednesday night.
Mid-Week Rain & Snow
According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, a storm system is expected to bring a chance for light rain and snow Wednesday night and early Thursday.
Officials say minor snow accumulations are possible as rain changes over to snow. Slick road conditions during the Thursday morning commute may be possible.
Hot Girl January?
After an expected average and dry weekend, things are going to warm up a little bit in the Quad Cities.
Officials from the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities say the 6-10 day outlook is looking warmer than normal. The Quad Cities area has a greater than 80% chance of above-normal temperatures happening in the Quad Cities from January 15-19.
The average high for January 15-19 is 31°, according to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities. Highs in the Quad Cities look like they will be in the mid-to-upper 40s Monday through Thursday with some chances of rain mixed in there, according to The Weather Channel
