The website estately.com created a list and map of the most lewd-sounding names in America.  As they put it, they...

Placed our minds in the gutter and spent days looking over detailed maps and scrutinizing the names of all cities, towns, and unincorporated communities for anything that sounded even remotely sexual or perverse.

The folks at Estately also said they left out dirty-sounding natural features like "Little Dick Lake" in Minnesota.  That sounds like a totally separate hilarious map that needs to be made.

Well, let's start with those cities in Illinois that make us laugh.  And there are a lot of them.

Bone Gap, Boody, Bush, Chicken Bristle, Chittyville, Diswood, Dongola, Ficklin, Lick Creek, and Shobonier, Illinois.

Our friends to the north are even better.  Because in Wisconsin you can find Dickeyville, Clam Falls, Longwood, Sextonville, Spread Eagle, and Tainter, Wisconsin.

The folks at Estately gave a list of names from Iowa as well. Including Beaverdale, Cumming, Fertile, Hard Scratch, Inwood, and Sac City, Iowa.

But in the end, the winner is from Dubuque County.  With a population of 79.  Welcome to Balltown, Iowa.  

Balltown was named for its founder "John Ball". That's unfortunately funny. Mr. Ball lived on a Mississippi River Island until 1850 when the town was founded.

Balltown has Iowa's oldest restaurant and bar in "Breitbach's Country Dining" founded in 1852.  All the Balltownions went there.  Balltownites.  Balltowners.  Not sure.
