Julien Dubuque Bridge Closed for Accident Clean-Up

UPDATE: The Julien Dubuque Bridge has now reopened to traffic.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Dubuque Police Department has closed the Julien Dubuque Bridge for an accident clean-up Tuesday morning.

A five-vehicle crash has closed the bridge for an undetermined amount of time.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area so the accident can be cleaned up and investigated. Drivers are encouraged to take the Wisconsin Bridge for the time being.

Police will announce when the bridge will reopen to traffic.
