A dairy farm in Donahue, IA (just north of Davenport) has found that their cows' milk tastes sweeter if they feed the cows coffee creamer. The cows are being fed half a pound of powdered coffee creamer a day mixed with hay, which adds up to four pounds of milk per cow daily.

Cinnamon Ridge Farms used to feed the cows chocolate cake mix, but found more benefits from the coffee creamer because of the higher sugar levels. And it must work, because according to their website Cinnamon Ridge Dairy is ranked 2nd overall in the nation for milk production.

The farm is open to tours, and offers free events for children to learn about farming.
