Need a Job? Young Adults Can Find Jobs at Moline Fair
If you know a high school or college student between the ages of 16-24 that's looking for a job in the QCA, or will be in need of summer work, there's an event coming up for them.
The QCA Young Adult Hiring Fair will be on March 2 at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline. It will be from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. The event is geared for those who are from 16-to 24 and are or will be on the job search. There will be job interviews on the spot and could be potential offers. The event is intended to help connect high school and college students with local employers.
The hiring fair will include over 30 local businesses that are searching to fill all kinds of jobs. That includes jobs that will be part-time, seasonal entry-level, or even full-time. There will also be summer job opportunities, which are perfect for local high school students or those students who will be home from college this summer.
The QCA Young Adult Hiring Fair is sponsored by the mayors of the Quad Cities. Members of the QCA Young Adult Hiring Fair Committee will be on hand to speak on the impact of the event on local businesses as well as the young workforce. There's no word yet on exactly what businesses will be represented at the fair but if your student is looking for a job, or if you know a student who will be looking for work this summer, this is a great place to start!
