One Dead, Two Charged in LeClaire Park Stabbing

Two men have been charged in the stabbing death of a male at LeClaire Park on the Davenport riverfront.

William Crawford, 42, of Davenport has been charged with First Degree Murder and Willful Injury-Causing Serious Injury.

Durell Parks Jr., 34, of Davenport has been charged with First Degree Murder and Willful Injury-Causing Serious Injury.

Police responded to the stabbing at 400 W. Beiderbecke Dr. in LeClaire Park at 7:20 p.m. Thursday night.

The victim in the incident was transported to the hospital where they later died.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of family.
