[PHOTOS] UTHS vs. Rock Island

The United Township Panthers & Rock Island Rocks played tonight in a 4A basketball sectional. This is a HUGE rivalry and the two schools asked the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) to move the game, originally scheduled to be played in Normal, to Moline's Wharton Fieldhouse.

This is what makes high school sports so much fun! More than 5,200 fans packed Wharton to watch the Rocks and Panthers play an absolute classic. The arena was filled with orange and black on one side of the gym and yellow and red on the other.

The game was tight all the way to the end, featuring 13 ties and 17 lead changes. Oh...and THIS.

Many fans say this is the greatest basketball game they've ever seen. It was definitely a thrill to watch...and as a UT grad...it was fun to be on the right side! #bEASTMOde
