UPDATE: Rock Island Police Have Identified Lincoln Park Vandals

Rock Island Police announced Thursday morning that the two suspects that vandalized Lincoln Park in Rock Island have been identified. The Rock Island Police Department thanked the public for its help.

Kids these days. The Rock Island Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who are involved in graffiti and vandalizing Lincoln Park in Rock Island. The photo posted by the Rock Island Police Department has garnered a lot of social media attention as the public is doing their best to help.

It's a little funny and ironic how when older people complain that kids these days don't go outside and play more often but when they do, they seem to be doing it wrong. What looks like two teens were caught in the act of vandalizing Lincoln Park (1120 40th St) in Rock Island.

On Wednesday, the Rock Island Police Department took to social media to post a photo of the two suspects who were involved in putting up graffiti and vandalizing Lincoln Park.

As you can see from the picture in the social media post below, the suspect in the red and black checkered pajama pants is holding what looks like a can of spray paint. That suspect is also covering their face as the photo was taken. Some sort of marking seems to be on that suspect's hand, but it is hard to believe if that is a permanent tattoo or some other nonpermanent marking.

The suspect with the blue mask on appears to be female and in their teens.

If you take a closer look at the photo posted by the department, you can see that graffiti has been painted on the structure behind the suspect in the red and black checkered pajama pant's left shoulder. That graffiti has a red shade to it and the "spray paint can" the same suspect is holding has a red label which could indicate the vandalism happened right before the photo was taken.
