I was born and raised in Wisconsin in a family full of hunters, yet, at 24-years-old I still had never even held a gun. This had to change. So, I talked to my friends at Shooting Sports and they helped me get up to speed.

Chris from Shooting Sports, located in downtown Moline, was my first instructor and was very helpful!

  1. Keep the gun unloaded until you're ready to use, always treat the gun as if it is loaded
  2. Never point the gun at anything you do not intend to destroy
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire

After Chris taught me the proper form for shooting, we grabbed some fashionable eye and ear-wear and headed to their indoor shooting range.
