So I Bought A Drumset Today

Call me "The Little Drummer Boy." Except please don't.

A couple years ago, I'd started picking up more karaoke gigs around the QC, so I needed to invest in my own equipment. The drumset I'd had since middle school was gathering more dust than beats, so I made the painful decision to trade it in for speakers, amps, etc. Yes, I felt like I was slowly killing the music industry... Trading real instruments for technology. The money from the gigs helped ease the pain.

I'd been feeling the urge to play ever since then, so today, I walked into Music Go Round and told the associate, "I want something cheap to beat up." He said he had just the set... if I didn't mind that it was lime green. I didn't, so here I am.
