9 Quad Cities Area Towns As ‘Stranger Things’ Characters
Is the Quad Cities actually the Upside Down?
The final season of Netflix's hit show 'Stranger Things' is coming to the streaming service in 2 parts: volume 1 on November 26th and volume 2 on Christmas. This is how they released their previous season, season 4, too: volume 1 came out on May 27, 2022 and volume 2 was released on July 1st, 2022.
If you're unfamiliar with the show (watch it, it's good), it's set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980's. A gateway (near a human experimentation facility) opens between Earth and a scary place called the Upside Down. There are a lot of pop culture references to the 80's, including the classic game "Dungeons and Dragons".
To refresh your memory, here's the season 4 trailer from the year that the show shot the 1985 song "Running Up That Hill" and Metallica's "Master of Puppets" back onto the charts.
Now, the psychokinetic Eleven must help the teens in Hawkins save the Earth from the Upside Down's ruler, Vecna, and his demogorgons.
For the last 3 years now, there's been all kinds of hype for the final season of 'Stranger Things', as many consider it one of the best television shows ever made.
Here's the last trailer:
