Subway is raising its prices on the $5 Footlong

For awhile, Subway's $5 Footlong is all you heard about. Whether it was on TV, the radio, a billboard, or your brother obnoxiously whistling that godforsaken jingle. There was so escape, no matter how hard you tried.

You even heard it in the above commercial: Subway - Home of the $5 Footlong.

NOPE.

You saw correct. $5 for 12 inches of bread, meat and toppings is now a thing of the past.

Subway is jacking up the prices of their $5 Footlong sub sandwiches, so if you're planning on getting some for the Big Game Sunday, you'll be handing out more dough than usual, but not getting more dough in return (see what I did there?).

Ok, so that's the bad news. Good news? They're only going to be a dollar more. That's right, they're now the $6 Footlongs. But how unsatisfactory is that to say? AM I RIGHT?!
