After the extremely cold temperatures we've been dealing with the past week or so, we'll get a nice break with some warmer temps in Eastern Iowa.

The "warmth," if you will, is returning this weekend with highs getting back above freezing by Sunday. But on Saturday, you can take a nice little run through an Eastern Iowa town in an annual run that's fun for everyone.

Frosty Four Fun Run This Saturday In Bettendorf

It's fun for the whole family as temperatures start to get warmer this weekend. Sign up now and make plans to get outside in Bettendorf at the Frosty Four Fun Run.

The original date of this race was actually over Valentine's Day weekend on Saturday, Feb. 15th. Because of inclement weather, race officials moved it to this Saturday, Feb. 22nd.

Check-in and the race begins at Middle Park Lagoon shelter. The race will go 2 miles to the Bettendorf-Davenport border (volunteers will be on hand to direct) and return 2 miles back to Middle Park Lagoon. A total of 4 miles (out and back). The run is for fun and not timed. When you register, you get a Frosty Four beanie.

The fee to register online is $20 but the deadline date to register online has since passed. If you want to run on Saturday, you can for $30 but you must bring exact cash to be able to register.

It doesn't look like a third rescheduled date is in place and it won't be needed with the sunny skies and highs in the 30s on Saturday.
