The Fall 2025 semester is almost halfway done and since kids are back in the classroom again, we're going out for awesome surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to honor and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Kara Swanson, kindergarten teacher at Hamilton Elementary School in Moline!

Ms. Swanson was nominated by Justice B., who had this to say in her nomination:

Miss Kara Swanson teaches Kindergarten at Hamilton elementary school. Miss Swanson is so patient with her students and truly finds her work so rewarding. She makes the time to listen and pay attention to each of her students needs, as well as taking any opportunity she can to make learning fun. She is a great example of someone who lights up any room she's in and Hamilton elementary school is very lucky to have her.

Awesome job, Ms. Swanson!

For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Ms. Swanson has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack, including stickers, a shirt, and more, plus chocolate goodies from Ultimate Chocolates in Bettendorf!

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Ms. Swanson!
