With so many great food options out there when it comes to side dishes, sometimes it's hard to pick what we want. It may be better just to say what we don't want. Today we look at taste eatlas's and eat this's findings of the most disliked Thanksgiving side dishes.
Here are some of the most hated side dishes.
4. Potato Salad
Usually a German dish made from boiled potatoes and a variety of other ingredients. It's the random ingredients that usually put people off. Each person makes it their own way, and that own way may lead to others absolutely hating it.
3. Pistachio Delight (Water Gate Salad)
It's the dish of many names, and is a side dish salad or dessert salad made from pistachio pudding, canned pineapple, whipped topping, crushed pecans, and marshmallows. I personally like it, but many hate it for the taste and or texture.
2. Green Bean Casserole
Created in 1955 the green bean casserole is a casserole consisting mostly of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and French fried onions. This is a very popular dish, but with notoriety comes hate. I disliked this dish as a kid, and I still am not the biggest fan.
1. Canned Cranberry Sauce
We all saw this one coming. It's be around since the 40's and is made up of jellied cranberry sauce that is made with cranberries, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, and water. Not sure how this bad boy became a regular side dish, but it has been made fun of by almost everyone.
