Some supermarket faves won't be on the shelves in 2024.

I'm really consistent at always getting snacks when I go grocery shopping. I apparently always go when I'm hungry, which is the worst idea, but leads to buying more chips and snacks.

I think we can agree that some of our most beloved snack brands (looking at you, Oreo) come up with some really off-the-wall flavors, so it's not surprising when those don't last very long. There are the occasional super weird flavor snacks that absolutely hit a home run then there are others (like Doritos-flavored booze) that make you rethink the state of humanity. But some snacks you've probably had and liked are discontinued this year and you won't be finding them on grocery store shelves anymore.

Here are the snacks from popular brands you won't see this year.

6. Maple Cheerios

Cereal aficionados were less than thrilled when Cheerios put the ax on Maple Cheerios in 2023. The company didn't really give a reason why, only saying on X (Twitter): "There are many reasons why we may discontinue a product."

Cheerios are obviously available in a gazillion flavors: Chocolate, Cinnamon, Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon (my favorite), Strawberry Banana, Honey Vanilla, Very Berry, Multigrain, Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Frosted, Original, and Honey Nut.

5. Jalapeno, Honey Mustard, & Wavy Pringles

love potato chips but just think how many flavors we've seen Pringles come up with. There's no way every one of them will hang on long-term. Pringles latest flavors include Everything Bagel, Philly Cheesesteak Crisps, and if you need your spicy fix, Enchilada Adobada Crisps and Las Meras Meras Habaneras Crisps.

3. Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers

It always sucks to say goodbye to a yummy chocolate product but we have to say fare thee well to Nabisco's Famous Chocolate Wafers. These could be used in a number of dessert recipes and hung in there since the 1920's.

2. Raspberry Rally Girl Scout Cookies

Okay, so these are what you'll get technically outside of the supermarket at the door, but this popular flavor won't be on your list of options this year. Raspberry Rally was such a popular flavor that insane resale prices for boxes of the cookie began popping up and it became such a mess that Girl Scouts pulled the plug on this one.

1. Sierra Mist

R.I.P. to a drink many 90's kids remember: Sierra Mist. Pepsi discontinued this drink and replaced it with a different lemon-lime drink called Starry. Stats show Sprite was out-earning Sierra Mist so PepsiCo quietly pulled the drink off of shelves to rework their lemon-lime formula.
