Davenport Special Education Teacher Honored For Helping Kids Improve
The Spring semester is getting closer to halfway and as kids are working hard, we're going out again for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.
It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!
Congrats to Molly Crooks, Special Education teacher at Adams Elementary School in Davenport!
Ms. Crooks was nominated twice! Her first nomination from Sue M. said:
She goes above and beyond for her students with special needs. As much as taking them on adventures on her off time.
Her second nomination was from parent Olivia P., who said:
My little guy has ASD and Miss Molly and her paras have been working with him for the last two years and he has grown so much!!
When he first started with her, he wasn't vocal. Now he is singing, counting his numbers, and using his communication device to discover new words! We cannot thank her enough for what she is doing to have him improve!
Fantastic job, Ms. Crooks!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Ms. Crooks has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack, including stickers and more, plus chocolate goodies from Ultimate Chocolates in Bettendorf!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Ms. Crooks!
