Love is in the air this weekend, and if you along with that special someone are looking for something to do we've got the list. There are also plenty of things going on for you singles out there here in the Quad Cities.

It's going to be a cold one, so we have both indoor, and outdoor activities for you.

Some highlights include:

Vander Veer Park Lagoon is Open for Skating (Feb 12th & many others) The ice has been cleared of snow and it's ready for skating, however with the frigid temps in our area, it might not be a bad idea to wait until it warms up a bit. You can always go to The Rivers Edge in downtown Davenport to be indoors and stay quite a bit warmer.

Birds And You - (Feb 12th 10am & many others) You have the chance to examine the role we all can play in protecting and preserving the birds we see every day in our backyards and fields.

Wheel Throwing - (Feb 12th, 19th, 26th) This class is ideal for students with little to no experience on the potters wheel. Students will develop fundamental throwing techniques to create functional ceramic pieces. We will specifically explore how to make cylinders, cups/mugs, and bowls. Pieces will be glazed in food safe glazes. Be inspired by those around you and challenged by your personal goals!

Geneseo Farmers Market - (Feb 13th 9Am -12) Each business that will be hosting a vendor will have a small poster in their front window so that you can see which businesses are participating.
