My aunt has Down Syndrome, so seeing stories like this really warm my heart.

high school quarterback in Texas came up with a very clever plan to ask a student with Down Syndrome to the senior prom.

McCamey (TX) quarterback Adrian Alonzo decided to ask Cesyli Prieto to the dance. And it wasn't a mean -spirited prank...he just didn't want her to feel left out.

Adrian put five balloons in boxes, and wrote on each one so they spelled "Prom" with a question mark at the end.  Then he had Cesyli open them one at a time.

The senior class then made Cesyli's night even more special...by electing her prom queen.

"It really made me proud, the fact that I'm a principal of a high school, and I knew this already, but that we had such great, caring thoughtful kids," said Principal Jay McWilliams. [NewsWest9.com]
