This woman will not give her blood, sweat and tears to her work.

A woman in Edmonton, Canada has quit her job as a waitress after she bled profusely because the restaurant has a policy requiring female servers to wear high heels.

The woman's friend first called attention to the matter on Facebook:

As you can see, the matter has generated quite a heated discussion, with most people showing sympathy for the woman and a few siding with the eatery.

The pain and peril of wearing high heels is nothing new, but this matter brings up an interesting point: is the restaurant wrong for ordering female employees to wear them or should women look for a different job since no one is forcing them to work for the company in the first place? Jobs are fraught with good and bad things, but is this too much to overlook?
