According to WQAD, the student, whose name has not been released, put the costume on for a classroom book presentation about crime in the 1920s.

A white, hooded robe is most commonly associated with the white supremacist group. KKK Costume sales were the main source of financing for national organization, according to Wikipedia.

The student from Westosha Central High School in Salem, WI is receiving mixed reviews on his presentation choice. Some students and alumni are shocked that a student would wear a KKK robe, while others aren't as offended and see it as a piece of history that should be used to educate.

Where do you stand on the issue?
