Meet Stan.

Stan is 67-million-years-old and is 13 feet tall, nearly 40 feet long, and has 11-inch-long teeth.

…and you can own him.

Christie’s Auction estimates that STAN will have a price between $6 million and $8 million. That doesn’t include shipping and handling.

Beginning on October 6, private bidders will have the chance to own the dinosaur.

The T. rex is named “STAN,” after Stan Sacrison, the man who discovered it in 1987 while digging through South Dakota’s Hell Creek Formation.

Stan was no stranger to battle, his skeleton features puncture wounds on the back of his skull and his ribs that were likely caused by another T-Rex.

Stan is made from nearly 200 fossilized bones and mounted on a custom frame. This dinosaur is one of only two of the most complete T-Rex skeletons ever found. Over thirty incomplete skeletons of a Tyrannosaurus Rex have ever been discovered. The dinosaur currently resides in Hill City, South Dakota.

The other most complete T-Rex skeleton is named “Sue.” She was discovered in the same area in 1990.
