B100’s Pet of the Week: Adopt Jansen the Hound

It's supposed to get cold again here in the Quad Cities this week; we may even break another record. On colder days like those, it's nice to have someone to snuggle up with right? But who says it has to be a person?

Personally, I vote a snuggly pup. And with that, I'd like to introduce you to Jansen:

Admittedly, Jansen is still a bit of a puppy. He came into the Humane Society of Scott County, and he's estimated to be right around two or three years old, so right now he has energy to burn. But once he's run himself around a bit, he'll jump right up on the couch with you.

Jansen's also a pretty smart pup! He knows how to sit on command and will speak for treats if you ask him to. It comes out more like a gruff, but it counts. The only real restriction is that he needs to be in a cat-free household.
