A few years ago I was visiting my friend in Belle Plaine, MN for their annual BBQ Days bash and she introduced me to a uniquely entertaining game of bingo.

Here's an example of the Bingo game I played in Belle Plaine, MN. If you don't have a pen, just rip out the middle of the square.

I ended up winning, and thought it was a fun way to pass the time with friends while you're drinking. What better way to resurrect this game than for St. Patrick's Day in the QCA?!

Here's how you play:

It's essentially the same as a typical game of BINGO. As soon as you find something in one of the squares, you X it off. Then, whoever is the first to have five in a row (up/down/across/diagonal) wins!

This is where it differs. There isn't someone calling out "B16" or "G34." Every square is fair game at any point throughout the day. However, that being said, once someone finds a shamrock, for example, no one else can use that same shamrock. They have to find a  different shamrock.

What do you win?

We played that whoever was the first to get five in a row got to pick out what round of drinks they wanted - be it beer, mixed drinks, shots, whatever they want. You keep playing until there's one person that still hasn't accomplished the five in a row and then they're the one that pays for the round of drinks for the group.
