It's what you preach to your kids every day before they get behind the wheel. You see billboards around town. There's even national campaigns devoted to preventing situations like this.

"Don't text and drive."

One bus driver for the Des Moines area public schools missed that memo before going to work this past week. Jacque Gibson, a school bus driver for the district since 2012, was caught on-camera texting while driving her school bus full of kids.

According to the Des Moines Register, Gibson was put on administrative leave Friday as school officials investigated the allegations. Monday, Gibson was officially let go from her position and now the school is deciding whether or not to report the incident to the Department of Education.
