Eastern Iowa Elementary Teacher’s Kindness Gets Her Nominated Twice For Award

The Fall 2024 semester is coming to an end. For one final time this year, we went out with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Nothing Bundt Cakes QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Malana Kennedy, paraprofessional at McKinley Elementary in Muscatine!

Ms. Kennedy was nominated not once, but twice! Here are what her nominations said:

Miss Malana is the most caring and loving para in the building. Not only do her students absolutely love her because of her kind, caring, Gentle manor but all the students in the entire building flock to her like a magnet at school and outside of school. These kids absolutely adore her. She treats each and everyone of them like they are her own. We need more people in this world to be like Miss Malana. Way to be a role model for all students and teachers.

She is the best teacher because she always pushes through and goes above and beyond for the kids.

For being our QC Teacher of the Week and final one of the calendar year, Ms. Kennedy has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, koozies, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
