Multiplatinum artist Ed Sheeran is on the concert lineup for a Newton, Iowa event next summer.

According to a release today (Wednesday) from Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend, the concert lineup will feature Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, and Ed Sheeran.

The race weekend will be July 21st-23rd at Iowa Speedway in Newton (which is about two and a half hours outside of the QC). Ed Sheeran will perform after the Sunday race and he will take the Hy-Vee Stage on July 23rd.

Tickets will go on sale to everyone on Dec. 5th but you can register for a presale opportunity now at the event's website.

The Lineup

Carrie Underwood will perform before the race on July 22nd and Kenny Chesney will perform after the race on July 22nd.

On July 23rd, Zac Brown Band will perform before the race and Ed Sheeran will perform after.

The pre and post-race concerts are included with the Saturday and Sunday Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend tickets since the stage is in front of the grandstands at the race track.

The pre-race concerts will run for an hour with the post-race concerts going for an hour and a half.

The release says that exclusive trackside concert viewing passes will be for sale once 2023 tickets go on sale in December.
