Henry, IA County Public Health Holding Walk-in Vaccine Clinic Today
Residents in Henry County, Iowa will be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine today. The county health department will be holding a walk-in vaccination clinic for anyone who wants that vaccine, and those who are 18 years of age and older.
Officials from Henry, IA County Public Health announced on Wednesday via social media that they will be hosting a walk-in vaccine clinic today. According to the social media post, the walk-in vaccine clinic will be today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The walk-in vaccine clinic will be held at Iowa Wesleyan University in the student activity center/gym.
Henry County Public Health officials say that they will have both the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available. The vaccines will be available for anyone that is 18-years-old and older.
For those that want to walk-in and get the vaccine today through the Henry County Public Health department does not need to bring an insurance card. Officials say that getting the vaccine will be free.
In the social media post, Henry County Public Health officials said,
"Getting a COVID-19 vaccine will not only protect you but help stop the spread of the pandemic and help us get back to normal!"

Henry County Public Health is hosting three more vaccine clinics over the next couple of weeks. Those three events will be held throughout the rest of May.
- Friday, May 21st 10-11:30am at Calvary Baptist Church (803 E. Maple Leaf Dr., Mt. Pleasant)
- Wednesday, May 26th 9-11am and 1-6pm at Public Health (106 N. Jackson St., Mt. Pleasant)
- Thursday, May 27th 9am-1pm at Public Health
