Hunt For Eggs And Prizes At City Egg Hunt In Eastern Iowa
There is some free family fun coming up in Davenport at Vander Veer Park. The City of Davenport is hosting a community egg hunt for kids. This egg hunt allows kids to search for eggs that contain prizes that are perfect for summertime and throughout the year as well. The best part: it's free! Bust out those baskets because the Davenport Community Egg Hunt is coming up.

The City of Davenport announced in a social media post that they are hosting a free Community Egg Hunt. The event will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, starting at 11 a.m. at Vander Veer Botanical Park (215 West Central Park Ave) in Davenport. Admission to the event is free for those who want to participate.
The City of Davenport said in their social media post that they want you to join them for an "egg-cellent time" as they host the Community Egg Hunt. Eggs will be placed on the open lawn area south of Gabe's All-Inclusive Play Village at Vander Veer Botanical Park.
The goal is to collect as many eggs as possible because those eggs contain prizes and can win your kiddos some cool prizes. The City of Davenport will also have a chance for kids to enter into a raffle for a chance to win a Summer Kids Pass.
The Davenport Community Egg Hunter is ideal for kids 10 years and under. Again, admission to this event is free. Age groups will be separated and include:
- 11:00 a.m. - 3 years & under
- 11:10 a.m. - 4-7 years and 8-10 years
