Hy-Vee is bringing in a new tactic that can help you eat healthier.

According to a release from the company, they're launching 'Hy-Vee Healthy You', which is a health and wellness subscription service that has been developed by Hy-Vee dieticians. It will have personalized nutrition counseling, preventative health screenings, and more. It's available to people 18 or older.

What Exactly Is It?

With a Healthy You subscription, you will get these benefits, according to the Hy-Vee release:

  • Two 30-minute appointments per month with a Hy-Vee dietitian to discuss strategies to achieve individuals’ health and wellness goals
  •  Unlimited access to Short & Sweat fitness videos
  •  On-Demand Freezer Meal Workshops
  • Wellness classes focused on trending nutrition topics, as well as product recommendations and recipes to incorporate into customers’ routines
  • Nutrition programs such as Healthy Habits Menus, Balancing Your Blood Sugar, Weight Management, etc.
  • Free registrations on wellness challenges
  • Hy-Vee dietitian private chat portal
  • Two free health screenings per year (at participating locations)

The preventative health screenings look at things like your cholesterol levels, A1C, omega-3's (eat your fish, guys), Vitamin D, and more lifestyle factors.

Joining Healthy You costs $99/month and you must commit to at least 3 months. If you're interested in the subscription service, you can join it on Hy-Vee's website. The Healthy You subscription cannot be used by a household though, it is only allowed to be used by one person.

Hy-Vee also has WholeLotta Good, which offers dietitian-approved food, vitamins, supplements, fitness equipment, and household products shipped right to your door.
