Many people seem to be confused about which states are actually considered "Midwestern"...just not when it comes to Iowa.

Vox asked their subscribers which states should be included in the Midwest. Some answers were puzzling at best (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Pennsylvania), but 95% of responses considered Iowa, making it the "most" Midwestern. I'm still not entirely sure if that's a good thing, or if a bunch of people just looked at a map and said "uh...THAT ONE."

Illinois was a close second, followed by Wisconsin, Indiana and Minnesota.
