This is a list of fireworks shows for the Quad Cities and surrounding area to celebrate the 4th of July! This list is here to help you find firework shows in our communities so you don't miss out on celebrating Independence Day with incredible firework displays.

The 4th of July falls on a Thursday this year, which means fireworks shows on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday.

Bellevue

Bellevue is hosting its Bellevue Heritage Days Celebration on July 5th and 6th. Fireworks will go off at dusk on July 6th.

Bettendorf

Bettendorf will conclude its 4th of July celebrations with fireworks at Middle Park.

Burlington

There are two public firework shows in Burlington. One will be after the Burlington Bees' game on Monday and the other will be at Burlington Golf Club on the 4th of July.

Clinton

Fireworks in Clinton can be seen following the Clinton Lumberkings game at NelsonCorp Field. The Lumberkings will play the Burlington Bees.

Coralville

The Coralville 4thFest takes place on the 4th of July and starts at 7 a.m. Fireworks will go off later that night.

Dixon, IA

Dubuque

The Dubuque Fireworks & Air Show takes place the day before July 4th. See airplanes do awesome tricks and great fireworks.

East Moline

East Moline will have Fireworks on the Riverfront on Wednesday, July 3rd with fun activities leading up to the fireworks show. The Firecracker Run is on Thursday, July 4th, 2024.

Grand Mound

The town of Grand Mound puts on a massive fireworks show. This year won't be any different.

The City of Iowa City will have its fireworks show as part of the Iowa City Jazz Festival.

Keithsburg

Right along the Mississippi River is Keithersburg, Ill. Every year they have a huge fireworks show for you to enjoy!

The 56th annual Matherville Fireworks display is happening the day before Independence Day.

Monticello

Celebrate the 4th of July during Monticello's 4th of July Celebration at the Jones County Fairgrounds.

The town of Morning Sun has released its 4th of July schedule. Fireworks will take place on Independence Day.

The City of Muscatine has a lot going on to celebrate Independence Day including fireworks to end the festivities.

North Liberty

The City of North Liberty will have its fireworks display on July 3rd. Officials say viewers are welcome and encouraged to arrive at the park early to play on the play structures and enjoy a picnic. However, there will not be any organized programming or on-site food sales available.

Prophetstown

Prophetstown is also known for a great firework show. They have other festivities on the 4th of July weekend leading up to the fireworks on Saturday.

Red, White, and Boom!

The biggest firework show in the Quad Cities is something we all look forward to every year! Red, White, & Boom! will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd this year. Many activities in both Davenport and Rock Island will take place before fireworks get shot off from two barges on the Mississippi River.

Sperry

Sperry, IA is home to another massive fireworks show. It takes place at the Myers Tree Farm and they will have food, a magician, face painting, and more.
