Krispy Kreme Launching Delivery Service
Krispy Kreme will be launching a delivery service across the country starting this Saturday.
According to KWQC and Krispy Kreme's website, to celebrate Leap Day, they will launch their new delivery service at all of their stores around the country. They only catch, you have to be near one of their 350 U.S. locations and within 10 miles from a shop. There is also a $5 delivery fee. You can order your Krispy Kreme donuts on their app or website.
The closest Krispy Kreme locations to the Quad Cities are in Des Moines and West Des Moines, IA, along with locations in Chicago, Springfield and Bloomington, IL. The Krispy Kreme in Davenport closed it's doors back in 2008.
According to Krispy Kreme's website, Krispy Kreme is celebrating its leap to National Delivery by celebrating those who make special deliveries of Leap Day babies. On Leap Day, Krispy Kreme will be delivering dozens to hospitals, health professionals and parents of Leap Day Babies within 10 miles of their participating shops.
Health professionals and parents are encouraged to post on Instagram or Twitter letting them know of their Leap Day deliveries. They need to tag @KrispyKreme in their post with the hashtag #KrispyKremeSpecialDelivery. Krispy Kreme will then reach out and offer to deliver 5 dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts for free while supplies last.
