Well, 2021 has given us yet another weird Cage movie. I went into this after watching the trailer expecting a weird Five Nights at Freddy's knock off, but I was pleasantly surprised to see possibly the best worst movie ever. This is my new favorite "it's so bad it's good movie." You can see the fun they had in this movie, and there's heart!

The plot is as follows,

A quiet drifter is tricked into a janitorial job at the now condemned Wally's Wonderland. The mundane tasks suddenly become an all-out fight for survival against wave after wave of demonic animatronics. Fists fly, kicks land, titans clash -- and only one side will make it out alive.

I cannot stress this enough, don't go in expecting a masterpiece. The only solid character is the one played by Nicolas Cage. He also never talks... Not once. The rest are all cardboard cut outs destined to die.

The movie's story isn't awful, but the biggest redeeming quality is how off the rails it is, and it's commitment to be weird. It never takes itself seriously, but is just scary enough to actually get a jump scare or two in there that actually work. Not to mention it doesn't look cheap.

So many "so bad it's good movies" are cheeky and cheap, that's what makes them unique. But I was so happy to see this movie take a different route and offer a fun ride that can also be enjoyable to rip apart with friends during a party (once things get back to normal of course.)

Overall I give this movie a 7 out of 10. If your'relooking for some fun and ridiculous scares, this movie might be just what you're looking for.
