Last week I wrote an article about Adam Sandler's newest movie on Netflix "Hubie Halloween." Stating that it was surprisingly better than I was expecting, There were many cameos from some big names, but a lot of new faces as well. One small role was played by a Boston news anchor named Alaina Pinto.

Sadly by playing this role she allegedly violated her contract. As someone who works in media, but would love to be in films some day this sounds like an absolute nightmare!

Alaina Pinto's character was one of the anchors dressed up as Harley Quinn for the broadcast, only to soon discover that her fellow female on-air talent had also done the same.

She wrote on social media,

I am posting this because I want to be open and honest with all of you. Last year, I participated in a cameo in the recently released Netflix movie by Adam Sandler, Hubie Halloween. In doing so, I mistakenly violated my contract with the station and I understand why management unfortunately chose to terminate me. I am deeply disappointed and saddened, and I hoped this would not be how things evolved."

According to EW she was let go from 7 news, and as of now her employer has not yet commented nor has anyone else involved in "Hubie Halloween", but seeing as though this story is growing we may see more updates soon.
