Olivia’s “Mainz” Weekend

It felt like everybody was in some warm destination this weekend. My family was in Florida for Spring Break, my boyfriend was in Vegas for March Madness, and Kevin was still cruising around the Caribbean.

I decided to make the best of my weekend in the Quad Cities, so my friends and I dubbed it a "Mainz" weekend. What is a "main" you ask? According to Urban Dictionary...

A word many teenage girls use on social media. The word mains is a reference to their 'main' friends.

Teenage or not, it's what we've dubbed the people pictured below.

So what did our mainz weekend consist of? Friday we decide to hit the town and took an Uber to Pub 1848 in Moline. Saturday we woke up, made some breakfast, watched a couple episodes of Total Divas and then went to the DQ Nail Bar in Bettendorf.

After that, I met my roommates best friends from high school and we all went out in downtown Davenport.

Sunday came a little too early for me to make it to brunch with the rest of the crew and I played a quick game of catch-up before returning to Pub 1848 for a Sunday Funday. We finished the weekend with some Wing Stop and a trip to Whitey's.
