When I'm on vacation, I love to try different food. If you're planning a staycation, you could indulge a bit and hire a personal chef to help you design the menu. Check Into A Local Hotel For A Couple of Days

It sounds basic but see what local hotel fits into your budget. I did this for my Sweet 16 with my friends and even though it was 3 minutes from my house, it felt like a vacation. There's the casino hotels nearby and check out some of them that have a pool, like these top-rated ones on TripAdvisor in Davenport that do have pools.
