More School Closings, Delays From Winter Storm In The Quad Cities
While the snow may have stopped falling, there is still a ton of crews out clearing roads and moving snow off the streets in the Quad Cities. They need more time to clean things up and the less people on the road, the better.
To help crews clear this snow, schools throughout the Quad Cities have a 2-hour late start or have closed for the day.

- NO PARKING ON CITY STREETS. This will be in place starting at 6 pm today until 5 pm Wednesday.
- We will be plowing throughout the storm. As always hills and main roads will be priority. Followed by feeder streets, and finally alleyways. We will making roads passable during the storm and will then do are final push backs and clean up after snow has ended. So we will be making multiple passes by your home. And we will leave a wind row of snow in front of your driveway multiple times. Something we hate to do but that is what has to be done.
- When cleaning your driveway to help with us not leaving as much snow in driveway. Please pile snow on left side of your driveway if you are facing your home. The snow in your driveway is your snow. Please don't push to neighbors yard or the street. If you do leave snow on street please clean up.
- All plow trucks will be busy please be patient with us and your hired driveway plow trucks.
- Give us room!!! We can't always see behind us. Please stay back. Also if we are at intersections it is possible we will be backing up and cleaning that intersection. We will do are best to get out of your way. But give us time. Thank you
In conclusion, please stay safe out there. Stay home if possible. Check on your elderly neighbors. AFTER storm is over and we have left huge snow balls in your driveway I will come over and try to help move. If anyone needs anything please call or text me. In case of the need for emergency vehicles to enter your driveway please call me immediately I will be right there. We do not plow residents driveways for many reasons but someone makes there living cleaning driveways and we will not take that from them. But in emergency, I will do it!! Call or text with any questions or problems, I don't know if you don't call.
