As Delish reports, the chain has removed a popular drink from their holiday menu nationwide: the Gingerbread Latte.

"The Gingerbread Latte is no longer on the Starbucks holiday menu in the U.S.," Starbucks confirmed to Delish

The chain added that although the cookie-themed drink has been given the ax, there are still five other tasty holiday beverages for customers to enjoy this winter: the Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Eggnog Latte, Chesnut Praline Latte, and Caramel Brulee Latte. The Gingerbread Loaf bread is also still available, as a small consolation to Gingerbread Latte fans.

Starbucks fans took to social media to complain in response to the beverage going MIA. Twitter users were especially vocal.

Starbucks has not stated a reason for item's removal, but the drink is still available in Canada and the UK.

As for you Gingerbread Latte lovers, there's still hope: Dunkin Donuts is selling their own version, the Toasted Gingerbread Latte.
