The Rockridge boys' basketball team will play for the 2A State championship Saturday night. That may not be unexpected--the Rockets took third place at State just last year--but how they got there definitely was.

With the final seconds ticking away and his team down 43-42, Rockridge's Carson Frakes launched this miraculous last-chance shot:

This is the third QC-area buzzer-beater in the last month alone, joining UT's DeAnte Walker and Rock Island's Alek Jacobs. But Frakes' shot put his team in position to win a State championship. Rockridge faces St. Joseph-Ogden Saturday night at 8:15, and the game will air on CSN Chicago. Go Rockets! Bring it home!
