A beloved cafe in the QCA will be closing its doors at the end of the month.

Mama B's Cafe in Coal Valley announced on Facebook that they will be closing on October 29th.

The post didn't give a reason for the closure but thanked the community for their support and mentioned that the announcement of a new tenant is coming up.

The post also says that they will still do catering and will have some projects coming up, which you can keep up with on their Facebook page.

Ellie Bealer with Mama B's told KWQC earlier this year that they moved into the old Jack and Jill building in Coal Valley as her passion for cooking grew. Mama B's Cafe serves coffee drinks, energy blends, smoothies, sandwiches, Belgian Village bread, and soups and salads. They also have breakfast plates that include waffle tacos, breakfast pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. Mama B's also has a brown bag lunch menu.

Ellie was a stay-at-home mom before opening the cafe and the space also had parents in mind in its design, with an area designated for the littles to play.
