I love these specials. A reduced adoption fee from my hometown's local shelter is basically how I got my kitten months ago. I would take all of the dogs and cats if I could, but unfortunately, I can't, so you need to help out here. Let's get these babies homes!

To see the list of cats and kittens you can adopt, click here.

For the list of doggos you can adopt from the center, click here. (Seriously, scroll through the pics and bios of the dogs and cats. They're so cute and you can see if they've been spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, and what kind of background or personality they have).

If you've been thinking about bringing an animal into your house/apartment/life in general, this is a great opportunity for you to do just that.

The Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center and Education Center is in Milan at 724 W. 2nd Ave. Their adoption times are 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They're closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.

If you can't adopt a pet right now, but still want to help out QCAWC, here's the link for you to donate.
