The city of Bettendorf announced on social media, that starting today, Monday, May 11, road work will begin in the city of Bettendorf. This road work is expected to last three months. Pleasant Drive, between Hollow View Drive and Greenfield Road, will be reconstructed according to the announcement by Bettendorf city officials.

Pleasant Drive will be closed and reconstructed in two stages, according to the announcement. During each stage of the construction, officials say that residents in the construction zones will need to park outside of those construction zones for crews to do their work.

The length of the project is expected to last 3 months, but the length of the project is dependent upon by mother nature. The project will start today, Monday, May 11th, as the Quad Cities will see mostly sunny skies and a high of 55 degrees.
