B100’s Pet of the Week: Adopt Sophia the Cat

With this cold weather we've been having, you could probably use some pet snuggles right? Same. Good news: our latest pet of the week loves to snuggle. Say hello to Sophia:

Sophia is six years old, so she's all about easy living and lounging around...most of the time. When she arrived at our studio she did want to explore a bit, but once we picked her up, she snuggled right in.

She does have an interesting look to her. Sophia is what's known as a "torbie" cat – a combination of the colors of a tortoise shell and the stripes of a tabby cat. She would probably do better in a home with older kids, ones who understand why she might not always want to play.

Technically, Sophia is a senior cat. That makes her adoption fee just $20 and she is ready to head home as soon as possible. You can meet her at the Humane Society of Scott County today!
