Eastern Iowa Teacher Wins Award For Making Classes Fun And Enjoyable For Students

The Spring 2025 semester isn't over yet. So we're going out with our awesome program with Famous Dave's to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Famous Dave's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Kari Ripple, a 4th-grade teacher at Herbert Hoover Elementary in Bettendorf!

Mrs. Ripple was nominated by a parent, Anna, who wrote on behalf of her daughter:

Mrs. Ripple is the best teacher in many ways, it was so hard to just pick a few. When I was in fourth grade at Herbert Hoover Elementary, she taught us in many ways here are a few she made it fun and enjoyable for our class, she also taught us in the respectful way, she did that by looking at what we need to improve and helped us the best she could. Secondly, she took us out on an extra recess multiple times and she would play freeze tag with us and spider tag. Third, she always brought a smile to my face in the morning when I'm still not awake. I absolutely have no idea what I'm going to do when I go to middle school next school year. She is my favorite teacher and that is why I believe that this incredible, one of a kind teacher should get the best teacher award! She works at Herbert Hoover Elementary school 4A and her name is Mrs. Ripple!
